Itinerary
DAY 1: OVERNIGHT FLIGHT
Today your adventure to Kenya begins with an overnight flight.
DAY 2: ARRIVE NAIROBI
Arrive and meet your Tour Manager in Nairobi, the City in the Sun. Then transfer to your hotel to begin the experience of a lifetime.

DAY 3: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NAT’L PARK
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning followed by a Safari Briefing given by your Tour Manager. Then visit the Karen Blixen Home and Museum made famous by the film “Out of Africa.” Later travel to the Giraffe Center located on the 1932 estate of coffee king David Duncan. Here you will literally come face to face and hand-feed the near extinct Rothschild giraffe from an elevated treetop. Later enjoy lunch at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant where you will have the opportunity to sample an array of game & domestic meats. After lunch head south to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for dinner at your lodge surrounded by miles of rolling grasslands.

DAY 4: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli National Park is home to the legendary Masai Tribesmen and famous for its elephant population numbering over the southern horizon. Today enjoy Two Game Drives in Amboseli searching for elephant, lion, antelope, zebra, wildebeest & buffalo. DAY 5: TIME SAVER FLIGHT TO NAIROBI – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Today after breakfast depart Amboseli via a
Time-Saver Flight to Nairobi. Then travel to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy featuring the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. Enjoy a Game Drive and view the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Sanctuary, established by the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute to provide a lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa. Enjoy the views and amenities of your lodge before dinner.

DAY 6: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY RESERVE – SAMBURU
This morning depart the lodge to stop at the Equator for a brief presentation before traveling to the Samburu Game Reserve for an afternoon Game Drive. Here you will find the long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grey zebra, oryx & the tiny dik dik. The reserve also boasts a fantastic variety of birdlife, especially along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River.

DAY 7: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Today enjoy Two Game Drives in the Samburu Game Reserve. The landscape is beautiful, set against flat-topped Ololokwe Mountain. Along with the large herds of buffalo and elephant you may spot leopard resting on high tree limbs, while below, zebra and ostrich wander amidst enormous red termite mounds rising from the hot red soil.

DAY 8: SAMBURU – MT. KENYA SAFARI CLUB
This morning depart Samburu enroute to the exquisite Mount Kenya Safari Club, originally founded by William Holden, Clark Gable, John Wayne, Bing Crosby & Bob Hope. Sprawled on the slopes of majestic Mount Kenya, this exclusive world famous club is sure to be a highlight. This evening enjoy dinner in the Club dining room in smart casual attire.

DAY 9: MT. KENYA SAFARI CLUB – LAKE NAKURU
Today after breakfast depart and travel to Lake Nakuru National Park for a one night stay. Enjoy lunch and later this afternoon venture out on a Game Drive in this park famous for black & white rhinos, leopards, flamingos & other incredible birdlife.

DAY 10: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA
Travel to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most exciting reserve and an extension of the legendary Serengeti Plain, and regarded as one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife arenas. This afternoon arrive for a leisurely two-night stay. Next enjoy a late afternoon Game Drive in the Mara. From your safari vehicle you’ll have a ringside seat for the greatest wildlife show on Earth. Learn about the legendary migration of the wildebeest. On the endless plains you will find the predators hidden among the
acacia trees; black-maned lion, hyena, cheetah & leopard. You’ll find big game like rhino, elephant & buffalo along with herds of wildebeest and zebra and birdlife of all species.

DAY 11: MASAI MARA
Today add to your list of animal sightings with Two Game Drives into the Mara. Today you may wish to take an optional balloon safari as well (weather permitting). Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner at your lodge.

DAY 12: MASAI MARA – TIME SAVER FLIGHT TO NAIROBI – FLIGHT TO EUROPE
This morning take a Time-Saver Flight to Nairobi cutting out the long drive from the Masai Mara to Nairobi. Arrive at your hotel for a day room stay before your late evening flight bound for Europe.

DAY 13: EUROPE – HOME / USA
This morning arrive in Europe and connect to your flight bound for the US. Later arrive home with unforgettable memories of your Kenya Safari.

This adventure is suitable for travelers who live an active life-style, have good health & mobility, are comfortable riding in off-road vehicles and enjoy comfortable lodges/camps with limited amenities. PASSPORT/TRAVEL VISA/INOCULATIONS: A valid US passport is required for this tour and is the responsibility of each passenger. Passports should be valid for up to six (6) months beyond the travel dates. At time of printing, a Travel Visa was required for Kenya. Client must process the Travel Visa and the approximate cost is $65 using Kenya’s official Travel Visa Portal. Some inoculations maybe required and some are recommended.
